The Lithuanian youngster has fallen ill and will be temporarily out of action for at least the beginning of the $100,000 event.
DreamHack has announced that MOUZ had made use of an emergency transfer ahead of their campaign in DreamHack Open November, slotting Chris "chrisJ" de Jong into the lineup in place of Aurimas "Bymas" Pipiras.
The announcement was made just a few hours before the kick-off of the $100,000 tournament, in which MOUZ are set to play MAD Lions first in the opening round of Group A at 13:30 .
The German team organization has stated that the switch was made due to Bymas falling ill after he returned from PGL Major Stockholm.
Albeit temporary, DreamHack Open November will mark chrisJ's return to the MOUZ active lineup following his benching from the team in January, when he made room for the arrival of Frederik "acoR" Gyldstrand amid an overhaul of the squad.
Since then, the Dutchman has been sitting on the bench and remained teamless outside of a short stint with FunPlus Phoenix at the beginning of 2021, which ended abruptly after he and the Chinese organization did not come to terms regarding a permanent transfer.
mousesports' lineup in their first DreamHack Open November match against MAD Lions will look as follows:
Robin "ropz" Kool
David "frozen" Čerňanský
Christopher "dexter" Nong
Frederik "acoR" Gyldstrand
Chris "chrisJ" de Jong
